Inti Raymi Inti Raymi

Discover the andean world, visit the capital of the inca`s empire: Cusco, Inca´s Sacred valley and wonderful citadel of Machupicchu with overnight. Inti Raymi (Fest.of the Sun) is represented on the stage of Saqsaywaman fortress starting with small ceremonies held in the courtyard of Koricancha Temple and the Main Square of Cusco, called the Haukaypata, from which, the royal followers go to the slope of the fortress every June.

Each year special stands are built for the visitors that can reach about 100 000 on that day. Local people sit around the complex to watch the ceremony.

Day 23/Jun: Cusco
We’ll welcome at Cusco’s airport by our transfer and transport to your hotel (Coca tea courtesy). In the afternoon you'll have the city tour until 6:30 p.m. This tour includes the visit to the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), the Cathedral of the Cusco, the famous fortress of Sacsayhuaman, archaeological sites of Q'enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.

Day 24/Jun: Inti Raymi
Pick you up from your hotel (8:30 a.m.), transfer to Qoricancha, where the Inti Raymi begins, tour guided during the Inti Raymi, box lunch, transfer to Sacsayhuaman and finally transfer to your hotel.

Day 25/Jun: Sacred Valley of the Inkas
After breakfast, about 9:00 a.m. you'll have a long day trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It includes the market and archaeological place of Pisaq, Andean towns of Calca and Urubamba and the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. Back in Cusco. overnight.

Day 26/Jun: Machupicchu
Early breakfast and transfer to the railroad station for a train trip to Machupicchu. Guided visit to the citadel of Machupicchu. Around at 16:00 return by train to Cusco. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight Cusco.

Day 27/Jun: Cusco
Breakfast, transfer by car to the airport or bus station for your travel to your next destination or flight back home.
